The city of Muncie, Indiana is unveiling a new vending machine aimed at helping the homeless this winter.
The machine is set up outside a local fire department and dispenses blankets, clothing, and other necessities. It accepts special tokens that are given out free to people in need.
It’s based on a machine that debuted in England last year, designed to aid people who might feel too embarrassed to seek help otherwise.
