This is a heartbreaking story. A newlywed couple died in a helicopter crash after leaving their wedding.
Will Byler and Bailee Ackerman were married on Saturday night. Around 90 minutes later, their helicopter flight went down killing the couple, Byler’s grandfather and the pilot.
The tragic accident happened about 15 miles outside of Uvalde, Texas. The doomed flight had taken off from the Byler family ranch.
Will and Bailee were students at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
