The first construction of President Trump’s border wall is scheduled to begin next year in Texas.
Federal authorities just awarded a $145 million contract to Texas-based company SLSCO to build 6 miles of wall along the southern tip of Texas, one of the highest-traffic areas for illegal border crossings.
Construction on the 18-foot high concrete wall is set to begin in February.
