Harvey Weinstein’s lawyer has asked the judge to dismiss his sexual assault case entirely after questioning the accuser’s credibility.
Mimi Haleyi stayed in contact with Weinstein for seven months according to Weinstein’s lawyers.
During one text exchange, lawyers for Weinstein say she sent a message to his phone that read, “Hi! Just wondering if u have any news on whether Harvey will have time to see me before he leaves?” X Miriam.
Haleyi has accused Weinstein of forcing oral sex on her, Weinstein’s lawyer also claims that due to the lead detective’s previous witness tampering charges that whole case is tainted and should be dismissed.
