Two of the Democrats’ top 2020 presidential hopefuls cruised to re-election in their Senate races on Tuesday.
Elizabeth Warren easily won a second term as Massachusetts Senator, with the race called right after polls closed. Sen. Bernie Sanders also won re-election in Vermont.
Sanders spent recent weeks campaigning on behalf of other Democratic candidates. Warren, meanwhile, drew criticism for a campaign video that touted her Native American ancestry.
