Clearly, Florida doesn’t count on machines to do the job correctly.
Florida’s secretary of state has ordered a hand recount in the controversial Senate race.
The order comes after an unofficial tally of the machine recount showed Republican challenger Rick Scott with a .15 percent margin over incumbent Senator Bill Nelson. State law calls for humans to step in when the margin is .25 percent or lower.
The results of the hand recount are due by noon Sunday, a rep for the Department of State says.
