A recent slide for Bitcoin hit new depths on Monday morning with the cryptocurrency dropping $5,173.23.
The price marked a 13-month low and comes on the heels of ethereum and XRP suffering price hits last week.
The sell-offs seen across the board have dropped the value of all cryptocurrencies to $168 billion. That number is down over $650 billion from peak prices in January of this year.
