(CHICAGO) At City Hall, FBI agents have finished serving their search warrant on powerful Ald Ed Burke’s City Council Finance Committee and left the building quietly.
As we know, the FBI can be sneaky.
At the hall, after hours of collecting documents and computers in Burke’s third floor office, agents slipped out a back door of the suite of Finance Committee offices, headed down to the second floor and out of city hall as reporters sat outside Burke’s office on the third floor.
Meantime, Burke reportedly told Fox32 News that this is not the first time he’s been investigated by the feds, nothing came of it in the past, and he will co-operate with the feds this time.

As you are aware, there have previously been several other investigations such as this. In every instance we cooperated fully. And in every instance nothing has been found. So once again we will be cooperating fully and I am completely confident that at the end of the day nothing will be found amiss in this instance either.
