A 78-year-old man behind bars on murder charges has confessed to as many as 90 more murders – which would make him one of the prolific serial killers in history.
Samuel Little says he was responsible for 90 murders between 1970 and 2005, most of which were never solved. At least 34 of those murders have since been corroborated.
In 2014, Little was sentenced to life in prison for killing three women in 1994. The FBI says it’s working to identify the victims and “provide closure and justice in unsolved cases”.
