After testing the waters when it came to a possible run for President in 2020, attorney Michael Avenatti has announced that he will NOT be running.
In a statement, the attorney for adult film star Stormy Daniels says: “I do not make this decision lightly – I make it out of respect for my family.”
While it isn’t mentioned anywhere in Avenatti’s statement, there is little doubt that a recent accusation of sexual assault towards the attorney is likely a part of the calculus in not running for public office.
