The Colorado baker whose refusal to make a cake for a same-sex wedding went all the way to the Supreme Court – is back in court over another accusation of LGBT discrimination.
Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, won that case in June, but now state officials want to sanction him for refusing to make a cake for a trans woman to celebrate her transition.
Phillips’s lawyers are suing the state to block any action, saying their client is “just a guy who is trying to get back to life”.
