Here’s your Florida story for the day – nine people have been arrested for messing with the local bear population.
Prosecutors are accusing the group of ‘baiting and abusing’ black bears, luring them with dog food, donuts, and peanut butter, then attacking them with packs of dogs. Some shared video of the attacks to social media.
Florida Governor Rick Scott responded by saying his state has “no tolerance for vile animal cruelty”.
