(CHICAGO) In the race for mayor, Paul Vallas is attacking Bill Daley.
Vallas is trying to attach the universally hated parking meter deal and Meigs Field demolition Mayor Richard Daley engineered to his brother Bill.
“We all remember (Daley saying to Rahm Emanuel) put your big-boy pants on before he decided to run when he was defending his brother, whether it was parking meters or Meigs Field or parking garages or whatever, it was, hey, I’m not my brother’s keeper, ya know, my brother made those decisions, I’m a different candidate.”
Vallas is also demanding Daley release his tax returns. In response, the Daley camp says he’s planning to, but beyond that he’s spending his time engaging voters.
