(CHICAGO) Today is the final payday for TSA screeners at the airports and Democratic Sen Tammy Duckworth is sounding an alarm.
TSA screeners understandably want to get paid. Some are calling in sick to moonlight on other paying jobs. Duckworth was out at OHare predicting this outcome.
“I envision that there will be long, long lines as the TSA is short-staffed that will affect passengers, that will affect air travel, that will affect business and cause us to lose tremendous amounts of money both for the airport and the City of Chicago as well.”
But the other side says the Democrats need to approve $5.6 billion for Trumps Wall before the partial shutdown will end.
