(CHICAGO) The Telluride is Kia’s largest SUV and the automaker’s Communications Director James Bell, who has been hanging out at the Detroit Auto Show this week, tells us, “It’s a proper SUV crossover kind of machine. It’s super capable. In fact, here at the (Detroit) auto show we’ve got it climbing over rocks and over jumps and really treating it tough and it’s hanging in very well.”
During our review of the Volkswagen Jetta Chicago Auto Show Marketing Director Jim Obrill says, “Cosmetically you’ll notice that this new model has an entirely new profile with a more rounded roofline that adds more curves on both the front and the rear of the car which is an abandonment of what Jetta’s history of being such a boxy compact is always what kind of made a Jetta, a Jetta. So, it’s a little bit different.”
We also talk about the test tracks that will be at this year’s Chicago Auto Show, like Ram Truck Territory. “They actually have a payload area. They have a towing area. They have all sorts of different areas. So, you can see how well the Ram performs and this is the new Ram. This is the Ram that just won North American Car and Truck of the Year Award,” said DriveChicago General Manager, Mark Bilek.
We also talk about classic cars that are poised to rise in value. DriveChicago airs every Saturday at 8 a.m.
