A game of reverse Russian roulette has left one St. Louis police officer dead and another facing manslaughter charges.
Officer Nathan Hendren’s charges stem from last Thursday’s fatal shooting of Officer Katlyn Alix. Police say Alix went to Hendren’s house, where they decided to play Russian roulette. But instead of holding the gun to their own heads, they pointed it at each other when pulling the trigger. They’d reached round three when the sole bullet in the chamber fired, hitting Alix in the chest and killing her.
Hendren was on duty at the time of the shooting.
