The Fourth-of-July is still months away but some Florida residents are hearing bombs-bursting thanks to the U.S. Navy.
WESH television reports live bombs are being dropped by military jets at the Pinecastle Range Complex inside central Florida’s Ocala National Forest.
The bombings are part of exercises which began Thursday and are scheduled to run through Monday.
Officials warn the loud noises may drive wildlife from the forest and on to roadways.
