Seven Louisiana State University students have been arrested for conducting what’s being described as some of the most horrific hazing rituals on record.
The young men, who are members of LSU’s Delta Kappa Epsilon, were taken into custody Thursday — one month after the university shut down the fraternity. The list of hazing rituals they’re accusing of conducting include ordering pledges to lie face down on broken glass while being urinated on; forcing new students to strip down to their underwear and submerge themselves in an ice machine; kicking them with steel-toed boots; and beating pledges with metal pipes.
The arrested frat members are among nine that have been accused. While police have not revealed whether the remaining two will also face charges, a spokesman stresses the investigation is “ongoing.”
