(CHICAGO) In the race for mayor, Bill Daley and Susana Mendoza tangled Monday night during the City Club forum on channel 11.
The issue was the universally-hated parking meter deal Mayor Richard Daley pushed thru.
Mendoza refused to accept Bill Daley’s denial that he advised his brother to do it.
“It was good business for your family. It was terrible business for Chicagoans.”
Daley: “Susana, that’s a lie! Do not say that. That is totally untrue!”
Paul Vallas also piled on insisting Daley’s old employer JP Morgan benefited from the deal.
