* Named for Miracle on the Hudson pilot Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger III, the K-9 Sully was given a new vest and the rank of a Navy hospital corpsman second class.
* In a ceremony streamed on Facebook, Sully was administered the oath of office, asking that he serve his duty “without any promise of treats or tummy rubs.”
