UFC star Conor McGregor is under investigation for an alleged sexual assault in Ireland late last year.
According to reports, a woman claims she was assaulted by McGregor in a Dublin hotel room in December. In January, McGregor was arrested and questioned by police, but so far has not been charged with a crime.
The story broke less than 24 hours after McGregor announced on social media that he was retiring from MMA. A spokesperson for his legal team insists the retirement announcement was not related to the investigation.
