If you’re looking to buy a home, here’s some good news – U.S. mortgage rates saw their biggest drop in a decade this week.
According to Freddie Mac, the average rate for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage dropped to 4.06 this week, down nearly a quarter-point from last week and almost half a point lower than February.
Analysts credit the drop to a healthy job market and concern by the Federal Reserve over slowed economic growth.
