A tourist is dead after he lost his footing while taking photos on the rim of the Grand Canyon.
The 50-year-old man, who hasn’t been identified, was part of a group visiting from Hong Kong on Thursday, spokesman David Leibowitz says. He was attempting to take a photo at Eagle Point, near the Skywalk attraction, when he fell hundreds of feet to the canyon floor.
A helicopter pilot later located the man’s body at the bottom of the canyon.
