While residents of the country’s southwestern states are already enjoying temperatures in the 80s, winter is far from over in Michigan, where Detroit residents are bracing for another snowstorm.
The National Weather Service is predicting rain, which began falling Thursday, to continue through Saturday. But that doesn’t mean the precipitation will stop. Temperatures are expected to dip into the 30s and 40s, turning the rain to snow late Saturday and throughout the day on Sunday.
This weekend’s weather could deliver a double whammy to Michigan, which is already among several states that are expected to experience flooding when spring finally appears.
