Google has removed a controversial so-called ‘gay conversion’ app from its Play Store following an outcry from LGBTQ groups.
The app, produced by Texas-based Living Hope Ministries, includes sermons, devotionals, and other materials, including an article called “Keys to Recovery from Same-Sex Attractions”
Google says it made the decision after “consulting with outside advocacy groups”. A petition calling for its removal had gathered more than 140,000 signatures.
