A South Carolina high school basketball coach has been arrested – accused of having sex with a 16-year-old student on school grounds.
The State reports Artis Coulter was charged Tuesday with sexual battery without coercion. The 36-year-old is also the athletic director at Orangeburg County’s Bethune-Bowman High School.
The allegations were reported to authorities by school officials. Coulter has since been placed on administrative leave.
