Police have made an arrest in the mysterious slasher case that’s terrorized South Los Angeles residents over the past two weeks.
Lenrey Briones, 19, was taken into custody on Friday and charged with seven counts of aggravated mayhem, two counts of attempted aggravated mayhem and one count of attempted second-degree robbery, the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office revealed.
Briones is accused of slashing the faces of at least four people between March 20 and April 1, committing the crime as he rode by the victims on a bicycle.
