Michael Casey Lewis didn’t spend too much time on the outside. Just moments after being released from jail on Thursday, the Florida man got himself sent back.
Seen on surveillance video, the 37-year-old broke into several cars at the county corrections facility, checking the door handles to see if they were unlocked.
When officers from the Port St. Lucie Police Department approached Lewis, he was holding cigarettes and cash, plus a Florida driver’s license and an iPhone 7.
Lewis was then “rebooked” according to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office and released on an $11,250 bond.
