After the U.S. government called a branch of Iran’s armed forces a terrorist group, Iranian lawmakers wore the Revolutionary Guard uniform and chanted “death to America!” at Tuesday’s parliament session. Lawmakers also called the U.S. a terrorist organization.
The AP reports that Iran’s president said that the United States’ label would just make the Revolutionary Guard more popular than ever in Iran. Saudi Arabia is happy with the new designation, however, saying it will help thwart terrorist operations within Iran.
