
Healthcare isn’t just dragging down people’s wallets – it’s also pulling down Wall Street today.
Reuters reports sliding healthcare stocks weighed heavily on the market Wednesday, offsetting upbeat data from the US and China as well as corporate gains.
Healthcare stocks fell 3.3%, pulling down all three major US indices. UnitedHealth, Pfizer, and Merck were among the biggest tumbles – losing 2.8% to 3.9%.
