Twitter proves that no one is above its laws by locking the campaign account of Mitch McConnell out until it removes a video of profanity-laced protesters in front of McConnell’s Louisville home.
While the account, TeamMitch, is in Twitter jail, McConnell’s team said in a statement “The account was locked for posting the real-world, violent threats against Mitch McConnell. We appealed but Twitter has stood by their decision.”
McConnell’s team also pulled the “but they do it” political tactic with “Twitter will allow the words “Massacre Mitch” to trend but locks out our account for posting actual threats against us.
