Six police officers and five civilians were honored at the White House on Monday for their efforts in last month’s mass shootings in Dayton and El Paso.
President Trump awarded six Dayton officers the Public Safety Officer Medal of Valor, saying “There are few people who could have done, and would have done, what these police officers did”.
The President also presented Heroic Commendations to five civilians who helped victims during the August 3rd shooting at an El Paso Walmart.
