
Already the presumptive nominee since he’s running virtually unopposed, Joe Biden just took Oregon in the state’s Democratic primary.
Tuesday night’s victory gives the candidate a total of 1,514 national delegates.
Biden still needs 477 delegates to reach the required 1,991 to secure the top of the ticket, with primaries in seven states coming on June 2nd.
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren were on the ballot as well, but their presidential campaigns have been suspended.
