Kankakee Judge Rules That Ending Cash Bail Is Unconstitutional

The SAFE-T Act is set to eliminate the cash bail on January 1, but Kankakee County Chief Judge Thomas Cunnington has ruled that the ending of cash bail would be unconstitutional. Andrea Darlas talks with Will County State’s Attorney Jim Glasgow about this ruling and what it means for the 64 counties where the ruling blocks this portion of the SAFE-T Act.
