Fourth of July fireworks will fill the skies near Navy Pier Saturday night at 9pm. The 10 minute show will be accompanied with patriotic music. The show includes over ten thousand pyrotechnics, more than a third are new to this years show. Those heading to the fireworks are encouraged to come early, large crowds are expected since NASCAR visitors are also in the city. In addition to fireworks there will also be live music at the pier throughout the day. There will not be fireworks at Navy Pier on the fourth of July.
