NBC Sports said in a release that Sunday’s race drew an average total audience of 4.795 million viewers across NBC and Peacock.
Fast National data provided by Nielsen shows that the Grant Park 220 was the most-viewed NASCAR Cup series race since the Daytona 500 on Fox back in February, which drew 8.173 millions viewers. There have been 18 other races ran in that time.
