A suspect is in custody after Chicago police said he shot at an ambulance with a 79 year old patient inside. It happened after the suspect allegedly became angry after the ambulance did not get out of his way Wednesday night in Logan Square. The incident took place in the 2600-block of North Hamlin.
Police say the 34-year-old out of his car, yelled at the Chicago Fire Department ambulance drivers to get out of the way. He then pulled out a handgun and started shooting at the rear doors. The man then got back in his car and sped away but was later taken into custody, No one was injured. A gun was recovered at the scene.
