The holiday travel rush underway at Chicago’s airports

The holiday travel rush is on at O’Hare and Midway. AAA expecting this year to be the busiest holiday travel season ever. Today is the busiest day at O’hare with millions passing through the airport to kick off the holiday. O’Hare is projected to see a passenger increase of over 4.6 percent and a 4.1 percent jump at Midway. December 26th will be the busiest day at Midway. Over 3.4 million passengers expected to pass through both of the city’s airports between now and January 2nd.
