History will be made in Park Ridge next month

Park Ridge will hold its first Pride festival June 20th from 6 to 9 near Prospect and Second Avenues. Mayor Marty Maloney is expected to issue a proclamation for the city and State Representative Greg Harris who is openly gay will speak. The event will also feature music, food, a run and games for the kids. The event is hosted by some inclusive congregations, organizations and volunteers from the community.
