(CHICAGO) — The Chicago Cubs beat the San Diego Padres Thursday at Wrigley Field in the National League Wild Card Series. They took the series 2-1.
The Cubs will now go on to face the Milwaukee Brewers in a best of five game series.
Tickets for home games at Wrigley Field for the National League Division Series will go on sale today.
Game one is set for Saturday at 1 p.m. in Milwaukee.
This is the Cubs first Wild Card trip since 2020 and the first time they’ve had a shot at the National League Division Series since 2017.
