(CHICAGO) — The FAA has ordered reduced capacity at 40 airports across the country. O’Hare and Midway could see capacity cut by up to 10-percent.
Air traffic controllers and TSA officers have been unpaid for six weeks. Some have calling out sick, straining air travel.
The cutback in capacity comes as the government shutdown hits day 38.
