(WASHINGTON, D.C.) — President Donald J. Trump is upping pressure on Iran saying that the county’s power plants and bridges will be targeted if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened, setting a deadline of Tuesday at 8p ET for Tehran to comply.
The president also telling FOX he believes a deal could come as soon as today, but warning if it doesn’t he is considering “blowing everything up” and taking over the country’s oil. Meanwhile, Iran’s parliamentary speaker is pushing back, warning that the region could “burn” and accusing the U.S. of dragging families into a “living hell” if tensions escalate further.
