(CHICAGO) — Ald. Leni Manaa-Hoppenworth (48th) is warning of possible teen takeovers as we approach the weekend.
Manaa-Hoppenworth says Lake Shore Drive ramps will be closed and parking restrictions will be in place due to gatherings at Foster Beach on Thursday and Friday.
Parking restrictions will be in place along the lakefront from Lawrence to Foster and the Lake Shore Drive off-ramps at Lawrence and Foster will be closed. Manaa-Hoppenworth says the closures and restrictions will run June 4 and June 5 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
CTA bus service is expected to remain the same. The alderman says neighbors should expected to see an increased police presence.
