Before taking the stage at Soldier Field, Foo Fighters’ frontman Dave Grohl popped into a popular Chicago pub alongside fellow drummer Charlie Benante on Friday.
Grohl and Benante were photographed outside Avondale’s Kuma’s Corner, an award-winning bar and burger joint known for having a heavy-metal theme located at 2900 W. Belmont Ave.
“2 guys walk into a bar in Chicago…,” Kumas Corner said in a social media post sharing the photo.
The Foo Fighters played a three hour set at Chicago’s Soldier Field on Saturday with an entire playlist of hits and b-sides, closing out with a big fireworks display on their final song of the evening, “Everlong.”
