(CHICAGO) A 45-year-old man died four days after he fell off his bicycle on Lake Shore Drive downtown.

Aram D. Hermiz fell off his bicycle June 27 at 150 N. Lake Shore Drive and suffered a head injury, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Hermiz was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead at 2:48 p.m. July 1, the medical examiner’s office said.

Hermiz, of the 0-100 block of North Aberdeen, died from closed head injuries and his death was ruled an accident, according to an autopsy.
