No one had the winning numbers for the estimated $524 million Powerball jackpot — 47, 2, 63, 62, 11 and the Powerball of 17 — which means Saturday’s jackpot will be an estimated $675 million, the largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history. The previous largest was a Mega Millions jackpot of $656 million in 2012. If you won the lottery, would you keep going into work?

A British couple sent some DNA from their dead dog and a certified check for $100,000 to a South Korean company and got two clones of the little rascal. Everyone loves their pets and are devastated when they lose them, but would you spend $100,000 to bring them back?

North Korea said it successfully tested a powerful nuclear bomb on Wednesday, drawing threats of further sanctions even though the United States and weapons experts voiced doubts the device was as advanced as the isolated nation claimed. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced that Head Coach Lovie Smith has been relieved of his duties. Smith only lasted two seasons in Tampa Bay after he was fired by the Bears.

A Houston car salesman’s quick thinking may have saved his life when a routine test drive took an unexpected turn when he was kidnapped. The man was beaten up and put into the trunk of a car he was trying to sell while taking a man on a test drive

A man wearing a homemade tactical-style vest and carrying an Airsoft BB gun was fatally shot on Wednesday. Zion police officers responded to a report that a suspicious person was taking photographs of two schools. The man actually led police on a chase that ended in a struggle in a Zion alley.
