Big John Howell Show Notes 3-22-16

Three explosions that ripped through the Belgian capital of Brussels early Tuesday killed at least 26 people and wounded 130 more. Belgian media report at least 11 more people were killed in the two blasts in the Brussels Airport departure hall. Of the two explosions at the airport, at least one was a suicide bombing. A blast happened there outside the security checkpoints for ticketed passengers and near the airline check-in counters.

On Monday Apple their brand new iPhone SE. The new phone is smaller than its iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus siblings. But on the inside, it’s just as powerful. It mostly resembles the older iPhone 5s it’s replacing, with the same 4-inch screen, chamfered edges and flat back. A guy in New York has started dressing up as Donald Trump and letting people do things to him for a fee. You can punch him in the gut for $5, trample him for $7, throttle him for $10 and pee on him from $300. Or you can also just get your picture taken with him for $2. Rats are expected to be a big problem this spring in the city of Chicago, rat sightings are already up. In Lincoln Park they are trying to fight the problem by flooding the streets with feral cats.
