(CHICAGO) The Lake Street Bridge over the Chicago River will be closed for maintenance work this weekend in the Loop.
The bridge will be closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic starting at 2 a.m. Saturday, according to the Chicago Department of Transportation. It will reopen by 4 a.m. Monday.
Motorists heading east on Lake will be rerouted south on Clinton, east on Washington and north on Wacker to get back to eastbound Lake, CDOT said. Westbound traffic will be rerouted south on Wacker, west on Randolph and north on Canal back to Lake.
Pedestrians should use the Randolph Street Bridge, which is accessible from Canal or Wacker, CDOT said.
