WEATHER: Snow starts tonight. 3 – 6 inches possible by Tuesday

(CHICAGO) Putting a little dent into the season snow drought from late late tonight into early Tuesday, More snow is possible on Monday than January and February combined.  3 to 6″ of snow is easily possible with locally higher amounts possible.

Today |Sunshine and some clouds. Highs in the low to mid 30s. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight |Snow showers early, with a steadier snow developing late at night. Low 27F. Winds ESE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 80%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.

Tomorrow |Snow. Highs in the low 30s and lows in the low 20s. 1 to 3 inches of snow possible.

Tuesday|Lake effect snow showers possible. Highs in the mid 20s and lows in the low teens.

Wednesday|Plenty of sun. Highs in the upper 20s and lows in the low teens.

Thursday|Snow showers at times. Highs in the mid 30s.
