Prosecutors: Fatal I-88 Shooting was Road Rage

(CHICAGO) For over three miles a tow truck driver and a semi driver were heading Eastbound on I-88 before shots were fired at the semi driver.
“Witnesses observed Tillmon and Munoz arguing with each other and driving aggressively next to each other,” said DuPage County States Attorney Robert Berlin.
Trucker Eduardo Munoz of Northlake was struck three times, managed to pull his rig over near in the Oak Brook area, and later died at a hospital.
Bond has been set at $3 million dollars for Anthony Tillmon, 34, of Lansing.
Berlin says it was technology that helped them track down Tillmon who was driving a tow truck that belonged to a Calumet City company. GPS confirmed that the truck was at the scene, at the time of the shooting, and I-Pass records and toll plaza video showed the semi and tow truck next to each other moments before the shots were fired.
Tillmon’s next court appearance is scheduled for May 22.
